Accounting Expert

From Melt Group, we are currently looking for an Accounting Expert to join an international group operating in the Industrial Refrigeration, Commercial Refrigeration, and HVAC sectors. The role will be responsible for managing the accounting of the holding company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting to support strategic decision-making across the group.
The company delivers medium- and large-scale refrigeration and HVAC solutions for industrial environments, logistics platforms, food processing facilities, and retail spaces, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and sustainable development, working on long-term, tailored projects for large clients in the food and logistics sectors.
This position is based at their offices in headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• General accounting, monthly closings – Spanish GAAP (PGC)
• Invoicing - Trade receivables, collections, and bad debt monitoring
• Supplier and payments monitoring
• Taxes (VAT, PIT, CIT, etc)
• Bank reconciliations
• Group investment (equity) accounting knowledge
• PL and BS review analysis
• Financial statements and relationship with Auditors

Position Requirements

• Min 10 years in accounting
• Advance English

Will be valued

• Experience in external audit
• Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O
• Expert accountant with experience in accounting of Holdings and merges.
• Consolidation of Financial Statements knowledge
• Big Four experience

Required Education

• A university degree or Master's in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required.
