                                       IT Manager – Equatorial Guinea
Melt Group is currently seeking an IT Manager on behalf of a leading international company specialized in software and biometric systems.

The selected professional will lead the of the company’s design and implementation of passenger biometric recognition, immigration processing, and intelligent information reporting and management systems based on advanced technological solutions. Operations, across the country through a network of physical centers.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT operations for critical software systems, ensuring high levels of availability, performance and security.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, including software engineering, IT support and project coordination.
• Oversee the IT budget, technology purchasing and operational planning in collaboration with finance.
• Define, monitor and report IT operational KPIs to local and corporate management.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures and corporate standards.
• Set annual operational objectives and oversee overall departmental performance.
• Act as primary point of contact for the client regarding service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring consistent delivery.
• Design and implement IT policies aligned with business strategy.
• Anticipate future system needs and drive proactive, innovative solutions.
• Promote continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience leading software engineering and IT teams in complex environments.
• Strong background in enterprise software development and deployment.
• Solid technical knowledge of:  C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jenkins – desirable)
• Experience in IT project management and infrastructure (networks, data centers).
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, structured and results?oriented mindset.

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master’s degree desirable).
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Experience working in international or multicultural environments.
• Experience with biometric systems, digital identity or advanced data systems is a plus.
• Fluent English and proficiency in the local country language.

Travel Requirements:

• This position commutes between regional offices/operation centers 25 – 50% of the time within a day.
• Anticipated travel will be by car.
• The person in this position may be required to travel outside the country to participate in global operations projects.
