From Melt Group, we are hiring a Process Engineer on behalf of a leading italian engineering form with international Oil&Gas projects.
Responsabilities:
- Plan, coordinate, execute and control the process Engineering activities for a Project or a
Tender in accordance with Project requirements within the assigned budget, time schedule and
quality standards. - Ensure compliance with all Project interfaces and supervise in-out information flow.
- Responsible for manhours and monitoring cost impacts of technological solutions associated to project development.
- Identify tools for adequate efficiecy improvement.
Endorsement of client’s technical documentation
- Develops Heat&Material Balances using simulation softwares
- Develops Process Flow diagrams to show unit operations necessary to convert feedstocks into on-specification products, in the most economical manner
- Defines and sizes Equipment and Instrumentation to be implemented and issues relevant Process
- Data sheets
- Elaborates Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Performs hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, in steady state and transient
operation - Defines the utilities requirements and designs the associated systems
- Defines quantities and characteristics of effluents to be disposed to the environment
- Ensure the preparation of Operating Manual and Test Run procedures
- Implements contractual design philosophy
- Checks technical quality of calculations, sw simulations and deliverables produced by others
- Takes part of the multidisciplinary project reviews such as P&IDs, HAZOP, 3D Model
Requirements:
- Capability to work in a multicultural enviroment
- Aptitude to the coordination of work team
- Good in English language
- Good knowledge and practice of main MS Office programs (Excel, Word)
- Good knowledge of Autocad, Aspen HYSYS (static and dynamic), Pipenet
- Preferable but not mandatory: knowledge of Loss Prevention (Safety in design) engineering such as QRA, HAZOP, HAZID, Vent dispersions and radiation studies, hazardous area classification, etc.
- Degree in Engineering: preferable orientation in chemical engineering
- 3 years of experience in Oil&gas projects
