Melt Group is looking for a Planner (Primavera) on behalf of a leading Italian general contractor specialised in projects for different sectors: from large interventions in public and healthcare construction, from civil and commercial construction, to the industrial, pharmaceutical and agri-food sectors; for the construction of New Sint Maarten General Hospital, an ambitious Hospital in the Caribbean.

Responsibilities:

• Use extensive planning expertise to advise the project management team on all planning matters.
• Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
• Appoint and manage our planning suppliers/subcontractors and to ensure that they are perform to the highest standards, consistently and diligently.
• Support our Project Management Teams as seek to secure planning.
• Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects
• Advise on planning strategy.
• Follow up and ensure contract deadlines as per planned are carried out.

Requirements:

• Holds a university degree or technical diploma with experience in the construction.
• At least five years’ experience in similar projects.
• High English level (written and spoken).
• Proficient with Primavera.
• Must possess leadership skills, be predisposed to working in groups and have strong interpersonal relationship skills particularly in maintaining relations with clients, suppliers and all of the company departments.

The project has a duration of 4 years and our client is offering expat conditions with a local contract. Rotation 90X15 (single status).
Starting date as soon as possible according to the visa management times (between 2,5 / 3 months).
