Melt Group is looking for a Branch Manager on behalf of a leading Multinational Group in the manufacture and distribution of machinery, spare parts and accessories of high technological value for gardening, agriculture and industry  for its regional office in Birmingham.
Reporting to the Sales Director based in Head Office, the candidate will be responsible for:

Analyse statistics and results to detect possible deviations and be able to correct them by applying the necessary measures.
Organise the necessary resources for the operation of the commercial area in accordance with the company’s budget.
Coordinate the sales team and the other departments of the company by studying the implementation of effective commercial strategies to achieve the objectives set by the parent company.
Manage and support the sales network, providing all the necessary tools and information to maintain relationships with existing customers and to seek new customers.
Ensure compliance with the annual budget of volumes, turnover and margins to achieve the sales target set by Country General Management.
Manage and coordinate assigned human resources, defining and verifying work plans (activities, standards, workloads), ensuring the development of team members and the application of salary policies in line with the objectives achieved.
Reporting periodically to Head Office on turnover, margin, sales estimates, etc.


Higher education, postgraduate degree or MBA desirable.
7 – 10 years’ experience in sales in a similar industry.
Problem solving skills, customer satisfaction orientation, organisational and planning skills, numerical and statistical analysis skills, ability to work as part of a team.
Strong commercial orientation, mastery of sales techniques and ability to manage commercial negotiations and coordinate a commercial network.
Ability to define the positioning of the company in relation to the competition (range of products, prices and service).
Excellent communication skills and good presence.
Leadership profile to manage a high performance team.
Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.
