Site Manager / Siderurgia – Acería (Luxemburgo)

In Melt Group we are looking for a Steel Equipment Site Supervisor for a large EPC project of Metallic Structure for an international company dedicated to the design/engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of turnkey projects related to the Metals Sector (Steel Plants, Oil & Gas, Metalic Furnitures... ).
 

Functions to be performed:

• Manage the planning of the metal project phase.
• Supervise the construction of the steel structure phase.
• Monitor the performance of subcontractors.
• Supervise the start-up of the plant.
• Support and report to Site and Project Managers in the relationship with contractors.
• Daily and monthly reporting on the project.
• Establish, monitor and maintain quality control procedures.
• Provide solutions when any setbacks arise.

Desirable requirements:

• Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
• It is essential to have at least 5 years of professional experience in similar positions, preferably in engineering or international assembly companies.
• Knowledge and experience steel structures
• Teamwork skills.
• Motivated and project-oriented.
• Good communication skills, to deal effectively with foreign contractors.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.

Offered:

• Employment project contract (with trail period) with the prospect of being hired for the Company.
• Salary range: Pending experience + expatriate conditions (hotel accommodation, insurance, travel, per diems...)
• Rotation 90/30 or 60/10.
